Visually, this place is really nice, but my experience was terrible from start to finish. I ordered a decaf Americano with almond milk, a sandwich, and a muffin. My coffee was completely wrong. It didn't have any almond milk in it initially, and when I asked the staff member for some, she rolled her eyes and gave me a tiny drop. I paid extra for almond milk, so getting attitude and barely a splash was ridiculous. On top of that, it definitely was not decaf, and it was so scalding hot that I burnt my mouth on the very first sip. The food was just as disappointing. The sandwich was served cold, and the muffin was clearly stale. It's a shame because the shop looks great aesthetically, but the food, drinks, and customer service fail to deliver. They really need to step up their quality and service.

First time into the shop and everyone was so friendly, especially my cashier Samy. She suggested items. My Nutella croissant and Chai Tea Latte was delicious!!! The energy and vibe was perfect for studying and I loved seeing everyone alike come together and enjoy the space. Definitely a place I will make a regular visit to!!

I’ve been coming here regularly, and it’s always a great experience. The coffee is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is top-notch. Cami and Noelia always take great care of me they’re friendly, attentive, and make every visit enjoyable. Their customer service is a big reason I keep coming back. Highly recommend this coffee shop!

I always enjoy coming to Carmela Coffee, and Samy is a big reason why. She is an excellent attendant and waitress—always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help every customer. Her positive attitude and great service make every visit enjoyable. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the food is always fresh, made to order, and served hot. I also appreciate that the ingredients are simple with minimal or no unnecessary additives, which makes it a great place for a quality meal or coffee. If you’re looking for great coffee, fresh food, and outstanding customer service, I highly recommend Carmela Coffee. Be sure to ask for Samy—you’ll be well taken care of!

I’m from out of town and our friend recommended Carmela Toast & Coffee Bar. We’ve been twice this weekend and I can say I have greatly enjoyed everything I ordered! The pan de bono is absolutely delicious and the ube guava matcha is a personal favorite. The sandwiches are very good. There’s a few games that you can play with your friends/family at the table. Our barista, Sammy, helped provide exceptional service and helped make our experience amazing! She always provided a smile and warmth to our visits! Would absolutely visit again when we’re in town!
